Presentation Techniques- Do's and Don'ts

Do's:


  • Speak clearly. Make sure the back of the room can hear you at your volume.
  • Vary your voice tone. This keeps the audience engaged because your voices keep changing.
  • Make eye contact with the audience. Interact with your audience; ask questions or rhetorical questions. 
  • Keep a good posture and be calm.
  • Rehearse. Be rid of all um's and erm's if you rehearse.


Don'ts:


  • Don't hide or turn around away from the audience.
  • Mumble or talk quietly.
  • Don't swear.
  • Don't mix opinions with facts, but do use opinions if facts cannot be found.
