- Speak clearly. Make sure the back of the room can hear you at your volume.
- Vary your voice tone. This keeps the audience engaged because your voices keep changing.
- Make eye contact with the audience. Interact with your audience; ask questions or rhetorical questions.
- Keep a good posture and be calm.
- Rehearse. Be rid of all um's and erm's if you rehearse.
Don'ts:
- Don't hide or turn around away from the audience.
- Mumble or talk quietly.
- Don't swear.
- Don't mix opinions with facts, but do use opinions if facts cannot be found.
